On behalf of our client - a leading multinational, we are seeking an accounts receivables specialist with fluent Italian. This is a permanent position with an immediate start
THE ROLE
This position is responsible for the overall condition of an assigned set of accounts receivable, including collections, deduction management, customer credit monitoring through order release evaluation and credit memo application. Members of the AR department have a direct impact on customer satisfaction and loyalty and are therefore responsible for building customer relations.
The successful candidate will need to display flexibility and will need to be able to managed different portfolio and customer types as required by the business.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
•Reviews files to select delinquent accounts for collection efforts.
•Responsible for achieving Quarterly DSO and delinquency goals.
•Contacting customers for payment of past due invoices and documents results.
•Responding to customer requests related to invoicing.
•Establishes and maintains follow up with customers or sales team
•Interacting with the sales organization, order management, distribution and returns processing to resolve customer claims and reduce disputes.
•Management and release of orders on hold.
•Analyzes and organizes payment remittance advice to ensure that cash is posted accurately.
•Participates in process improvement efforts to enhance customer satisfaction.
•Quarter-End / Bank Holiday cover to support OM.
•Establish a positive working relationship with external customers, internal customers and client sales organization.
•Other duties as assigned by AR Team Leader
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
•3rd level business qualification.
•2-3 years relevant experience required.
•Experience in finance/credit or customer services related discipline is essential.
•Fluency in Italian is required for this portfolio of accounts.(other European languages also an advantage, particularly Spanish.)
•Experience of Oracle a distinct advantage
•Ability to prioritize workload effectively and follow through on assignments.
•Ability to work on own initiative & as part of a team.
•Excellent attention to detail is essential.
•Excellent time keeping and attendance record.
•Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
•Enthusiasm & a genuine interest in customer care & support.
