Manufacturing Engineer x 2 Galway

On behalf of our client we have a requirement for a NPI Manufacturing Engineer x 2 based in Galway . The main function of this role is to support the implementation of NPI projects from our R&D facility.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Support the NPI project leader in the implementation of the NPI projects.

Develop the manufacturing process for the new products this will include; generating process instructions, PFMEA, BOM’s, Standard times and DFM.

Where required develop new layouts for the NPI.

Developing new fixture for the NPI products.

Work with the Validation Engineer to validate the new processes.

Ensure that all process documentation and manufacturing methods meet the requirements of our quality system and all the regulatory standards pertaining to the product

Follow all health, safety & environmental rules and procedures and participate in safety and environmental activities in order to improve the workplace for all employees

SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE

Engineering degree with at least 2 years experience in a manufacturing engineering position.
Must be strong in both development and implementation skills
Strong mechanical knowledge
Knowledge of FDA and ISO compliance
Strong project management and communications skills
Must have demonstrated technical creativity and innovation
