Electronic / Equipment Test Engineer Galway

Our client a leading healthcare MNC has an immediate requirement for a Test Engineer

FUNCTION :

The primary function of this role will be to develop Automated Test Processes for electronic based products manufacturing in the Galway Facility.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

•Design and develop Automated Test Systems for electronic based Products.
•Develop test specifications in-circuit test and functional test processes.
•Manage sub-contractors in the development of ICT process.
•Identify and implement opportunities for improvement on existing Test Systems/Processes.
•Validation of Test Systems
•Follow all environmental, health & safety rules and procedures and participate in safety and environmental activities in order to improve the workplace for all employees

SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE :

•Degree in Electronic Engineering and / or Electronic Test Development or a Diploma with relevant experience.
•Experience with Test Automation and embedded systems
•Analog and Digital circuit Analysis skills are essential.
•Strong Knowledge / experience of C Programming
•Self motivated problem-solver
•Excellent Documentation and Communication / Interpersonal skills necessary.ISO EN13485 & FDA Quality requirements
